Our Roots

FieldFinders began with the idea of helping families reconnect with the joy of discovering the outdoors together.

Like many parents, we noticed how easy it is for days to fill up with routines, responsibilities, and screens. Even with the best intentions, finding time to slow down and step outside can feel harder than it should.

We created FieldFinders to make outdoor exploration feel natural again — not as something complicated or far away, but as small, meaningful moments woven into everyday life.

A walk through the forest. A stop by the lake. A new trail after school.
These are the moments where curiosity grows, confidence builds, and family memories take shape.

Because adventure doesn’t always mean travelling far.
Sometimes it begins just beyond the front door — one trail, one discovery, and one shared experience at a time.

Who’s Behind FieldFinders

Two parents. Two environmental engineers. One shared vision.

For years, we studied ecosystems, sustainability, and the relationship between people and nature. But the idea for FieldFinders didn’t come from research papers or classrooms.

It came from watching our children explore the outdoors.

Kids notice things adults often miss. They ask questions. They slow down. They look closer.

That curiosity is powerful. It’s how children learn to understand the world — and how they begin to care about it.

Why We Built FieldFinders

FieldFinders was created to offer thoughtful tools that help families experience the outdoors in a more engaging and meaningful way.

Our products are designed to support discovery without taking attention away from the moment itself — encouraging young explorers to notice details, ask questions, and take pride in what they find along the way.

By blending learning with play, we aim to make outdoor experiences feel purposeful, memorable, and worth returning to again and again.

When children begin to associate nature with curiosity, confidence, and a sense of achievement, exploration becomes something they genuinely look forward to — not just an activity, but a lasting habit.
